Jamie Harte
Project Architect, Vienna House, and Senior Associate at Public Architecture
Jamie, a graduate of the Edinburgh College of Art and the University of Edinburgh, is a Certified Passive House Designer focused on sustainable residential design. He was Project Architect for Skeena Residence at UBC Okanagan and authored Public Architecture’s 2024 report on Single Stair Residential Buildings. Jamie currently leads projects including a childcare facility on Vancouver Island and Vienna House.
Stuart Hood
Project Mechanical Engineer, Vienna House and Vice President, Institutional at Introba
Stuart brings over 30 years of experience in low-carbon building design, with a focus on complex facilities like labs, museums, and offices. He applies a global perspective from projects in Europe and Asia, integrating progressive technologies and sustainability strategies. Stuart has led the growth of Introba’s Vancouver office and now drives leadership across British Columbia and Canada.
Jeremy Field
Whole-building LCA Practitioner, Vienna House and Associate | Sustainability at Introba
Jeremy specializes in aligning project goals with practical, low-carbon solutions. With a background in energy modelling, he leads LCAs to uncover cost-effective embodied carbon reductions. He advocates for LCA’s to extend beyond structure and enclosure to include MEP systems, finishes, and more. An active policy contributor, Jeremy helps shape embodied carbon standards and has lectured at several leading institutions in British Columbia.
Sean Binns
Project Director, Kindred Construction
Sean is a proven construction leader with over 20 years of experience delivering major residential and commercial projects across the UK and Canada. As Project Director at Kindred Construction, he leads complex builds and champions innovation in mass timber, Passive House, and modular construction. A mentor and speaker, Sean fosters industry talent through strong partnerships with local universities.
